Organisms in class Chondrichthyes have multiple things that make them even more unique from the other classes. These organisms have paired nostrils. Their skeleton is made completely up of cartilege, no bone at all. They do not possess a swim bladder which is the bouyancy organ possessed by the majoriy of fish. The gills arch into internal gills. Finally the Chondrichtyyes live in both fresh and saltwater.
