In Pylum Deuteromycota, scientists are, as of right now unsure of its sexual reproduction style. The term is now used to denote the species of fungi that reproduce asexually of the two phyla ascomycota and basidiomycota.
This phylum of fungi has mutliple uses especially with penicillium roquefortii, shown above. It has mutlple industrial uses: flavorings, proteases, antibacterial agents, polysaccharides, and blue cheese. What would wings be without blue cheese. Without this fungi there would be only chaos (especially during football season).
