In this class, seeds contain two cotyledons. The leaves have netted viens and flowers that are usually in multiples of four or five. These plants have cambium and vascular bundles are arranged in a cylinder in the stem. These plants are generally pollinated by animals not by the wind. Finally some are herbaceous but many are woody.
