Ed Hunt's Animal Kingdom


 Organisms in the phyla Phaeophyta are also know as "brown algae".  They are multicellular and live in marine coastal areas.  They reproduce sexually and have a variety of uses for humans.  They contain iodine which is good for our thyroid glands and are eaten in many cultures.
