The organisms in this phyla are the sponges. Sponges live in aquatic waters often times clear shallow ones.. The were once thought to be plants because of their sessile lifestyle. This means that they live their lives attached to something. They have no tissues, organs, or sytems, however, theyare multi cellular and eukaryotic. They are supported by spongin and spicules, but have no definite symmetry. These organisms can reproduce sexually or asexually. All sponges are filter feeders.
